Groovi

Good Morning All

A couple of Groovi cards today.
They were made before the lockdown as I only picked my Groovi tools up last Friday for the first time for ages.
This one is quite straight forward.  A circle cut with the Picot circle die and I used the Pansy plate and coloured on the reverse.

And this is one of the pieces I am always left with after cutting a square so I just did a fancy border and mounted onto black card.
Used some scraps of card that were on my desk and made a pretty Get Well card.

I am going to have lots of cards to give to the charities when this is all over and they will need them too as they have not been able to have their usual fundraising events during lockdown.

  1. Very pretty Wendy. All the charities, including all the animal ones are really suffering here at the moment.

  5. Absolutely beautiful Wendy.

I'm not really sure what's going on with charities here in the UK, I took a couple of boxes of cards just before lockdown, normally I give to the RSPCA and Wood Green, the latter told me they could no longer accept them as they had t sell their own manufactured ones. Speaking with the lady in there she told me the RSPCA and Salvation Army are about the only two who can as the rest have to do the same as them.

  6. Mean to add, I did actually trawl round all the charity shops in St Ives, there are nine and the lady was totally correct, all had not very appealing printed ones and more than one person told me they were really frustrated by the restriction.
