Crochet Pram Blanket

Good Morning

I have had this crochet blanket on the go for a while.
The joint of my thumb makes it a little uncomfortable crocheting sometimes so I only do bits at a time.
Now believe it or not but this is pink and lilac,
I kept moving it around the living room  to try and get a decent pic.

I followed a tutorial on You Tube from Creative Grandma HERE

Abit tricky to get the hang of it but got there in the end.

*******
Getting hotter here by the day and trying to keep Rico cool.
I had two little paddling pools that I had bought when the kids were here, so I put them on the roof terrace for him to paddle in or sit in, whatever.
He soon demolished those though so I brought a shallow plastic crate up from the garage and filled that for him, he seems to like it.
I just wish I had a camera up there when he goes up to play, he trots off up there then comes down with his legs and underbelly wet through.
I am forever mopping a messy floor!!!!

This is him when we have a BBQ, he sits up on my sofa  and watches the world go by

  1. That's a very pretty crochet patter Wendy, years since I did any and not sure I would remember how anymore. Rico looks a lovely lad, like him my girls are not too keen on this hot weather.

  2. Hi Wendy, Rico looks so cute looking out the window.
Beautiful blanket. The stitches are lovely.
I have a small tap that I wet and put over Gracie's back. She loves it and it really cools her down.

  9. Hi Wendy,
such a stunning piece of work that balnket is.
The camera does tell lies quite often doesn't it.
I bet the colours are so pretty in real life so to speak.
We are experiencing cooler weather today and yesterday thank goodness.
Hubby has even put a cardy on today and says he's cold.
I suppose he has got used to the hot weather.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  10. Ah whata super blanket, love seeing crochet blankets for prams. My woof loves to be in the paddling pool too. She always bursts them so I buy wee cheap ones to keep her going. Hazelxx

  11. Beautiful crochet Wendy. My 2nd GtGrandchild was due last week. No news yet. I am crocheting a blanket but don’t think it will want it yet.
