Christmas for Penny Black

Good Morning All
It is my turn to guest at Penny Black & More Challenge as part of the Allsorts DT.

I used this cute PB image but left it uncoloured and went with Black and White only.
I used the Pierced Ovals from Creative Expressions as an aperture and cut the smaller one for the sentiment which is heat embossed with White.

To make it stand out against the black part I mounted part of it onto white card.
Added afew resin stars and black gems.

Actually, looking at it now, I think I may just colour the holly berries in red.
What do you all think?

Well the rain has definately cooled the pool down. It was 25 degrees this morning, down from 30 but I still had my swim, 'cos I,m a good girl!!!!

  2. Your well ahead of yourself here Wendy, but I so like the crisp monochromatic feel to your pretty card. That pool sounds just great to me.

  3. A great card Wendy, so cute. I would add a little pop of colour to the berries, but it really is so lovely as it stands x

  4. Oh I really love this Wendy. A great idea to leave the image uncoloured. It works so well with the black and white theme. :-)
    Have a great weekend

Your quilling is very impressive! I tried it once years ago Glue etc has improved so much since then I might give it another go - especially as I could probably cheat and cut strips with my ScanNCut!
The photos of Arabella are beautiful What a cutie
