Box, Shelf Card ?????

Good Morning All
Here is my project I mentioned yesterday.

I am so pleased with how this turned out.
Front

The back featuring a charm as shown yesterday.

The top decorated with flowers, leaves  and stick pins.

Guess what's inside.

I was browsing Pinterest and have seen this design many times, so finally decided to have a go.
Obviosuly the shelves wont hold anything too heavy, I will  have to have a think about this.
One problem I came across was how to keep it fastened besides having a lid on.
I decided to use mini magnets  and ribbon and then hot glued a ribbon and pearl buckle to hide it.

So pleased with this, it fitted together perfectly and will look great on my stall at the craft fayre.
If any of you have made this style, please leave me a link and I will pop over.
There are tutorials on  You Tube  that show how to make it  but I thought this was a good one.
 HERE
I just used 8 x8" paper to make the shelf boxes and winged it from there.!!!!!

I am looking for a couple more DT members for MAWTT Challenge.
All you have to do is create one item per month and comments for two weeks of each month.

  3. morning wendy, a beautiful box, love the decoration. i made one like this years ago, and had the same problem with keeping it closed. i used a brad and a loop of ribbon to keep together, but the magnet sounds like a much neater idea. janice xx http://createdbyjan.blogspot.com
