Brads

Good Morning All

I have been making afew brads, or rather changing the look of them.
I used one on my post HERE last week.

I went to the China store and bought some large plain brads in gold and silver colour.
I dipped onto my Sticky Pad ready to emboss with glittery powder.

These are green ones and these turned out the best.

The bronze ones are using CE fine embossing powder
and the silver are using Stampin' Up powder.
They both went very smooth.

The ones on the far right are using glitter on Anitas Clear gloss.
I had fun making these and the green ones will be good for my Christmas cards.

                                                     *********************
It was this gorgeous girls Birthday yesterday, 4 years old.
She's on holiday with the family and she came out in Chicken pox the day they were leaving, hence the spotty face in the 2nd pic.

Obviously she was feeling well.

Much better getting these illnesses when they are young, I had chicken pox when my two were little, when they had it, and boy, was I ill.
I was laid up in bed for a week and had to have the Doctor out as I was in that much pain.
Thanks goodness my Mum was around to help with the boys.
I think they were about 3 and 5 years old.
We Skyped yesterday morning while she opened her presents which was lovely.

What a great idea and genius to use the polystyrene to hold them.
Hollie looks so like you (not spotty obviously lol!) Where has 4 years gone? Ah, memories of scratching and looking like bride of Chuckie last May.......hate to think what I'll come down with next year lol!
