Nativity

Good Morning All
When I got back from UK the village had put up their Nativity  in the square by the church.

I love walking around this traditional scene.
It is all enclosed behind mesh and this year all the figures look like they have been painted.

I took pictures as I walked round and had to poke the camera lens through the mesh.

I tried to capture all the different scenes.

This is Roman soldiers.

Some of the plants are real too.
        Little tiny  cactus.

People washing their clothes in the stream.

The one below I had to make bigger to show you the detail.
All the animals in the stable next door to the stable where the manger is.
Baby Jesus  born and people on their knees worshipping.

The attention to detail is amazing -
all the food on the table looks yummy.

Women making bread and baking it in the stone oven at the side of the house.

The animals -  a dog sat by the door and the chickens picking about in the grass.

A quick message for Nancy one of my followers.  Meeting on Friday 18th for slim and craft.

  10. Hi Wendy
What a beautiful scene they have created again. Dare say we wouldn't be allowed anything like that over here as it wouldn't be politically correct!
    Fab photos.
