Snow In Summer

Good Morning All
Moving Along With The Times Challenge is 'Snow in Summer' and we would like to see
A Snowy Scene.

I dont do Christmas until around August or September but I did have this LOTV topper in my box.  I know you are probably thinking that it is now August, but I do my DT cards way ahead of time and this card was made a while ago.

The sparkle card is an old Christmas card, far too nice to throw away.  When people pass their used cards over to me, I cut the backs off them if they are plain and use them for matting and layering, which is what the  spotty embossed card is.
Pop over to the challenge blog to see all the other DT's gorgeous makes.  We also are looking for some new DT members, so if you would like to apply, pop over to the challenge blog.

  1. Brilliant card Wendy, love that sweet image and your great design.
I do the same as you and "save" any usable bits from my cards and cards people give me.
If I don't use them the school does.
    Have a good day

  2. I try and do the same but forget where my box is AND I tend to make extremely personalised cards and start from scratch each time Most years I donate the Christmas cards to a charity collecting old cards I like Patricia's idea of donating them to a school or I could give them to my Wotever Scrappy Store (another charity) Now where's that box? Today's card is lovely, the more I see LOTV images the more I "need" them!

  14. Hi Wendy
Lovely card and great recycling. I dare not store any more stuff so I don't get to recycle.
    Hope you've been watching John.
