LADYBUG - Anything Goes

Good Morning All

Wow it is getting so hot here already, we have had temps of 25 to 30. And I am going to help a friend this morning cleaning 2 apartments, stupid or what for volunteering!!!!!
******
Ladybug Challenge is up and running again after Samantha had been unwell, she is back to fitness again.

The theme is Anything Goes and I made this ribbon weaved card.  It is similar to the one I made for Mothers Day HERE

I weaved the ribbon onto a  piece of card and taped the ends underneath, then mounted it onto a larger piece of card and did some faux stitching around the edges.  Added a crochet flower and added a flower brad for the centre.
I,m quite pleased with how this one turned out but it did use quite alot of ribbon, not that I haven't got alot to use  LOL !!!!!!!

Why not pop over to the challenge blog and join in.

  4. Hi Wendy, lovely vibrant card. I have done weaving cards before and they always look effective. I have used strips of book pages to weave for a different effect. Lucky you with the hot weather- still windy and chilly here in Kent. Have a good day. Janice xxx http://createdbyjan.blogspot.com
