I hope you enjoy your visit to my blog, mainly card making but I now have six Grand children, five girls and a boy. As I love these kids so much I can't help showing an odd picture of them now and again. I really need to get into Scrapbooking too, loads of pics to use. I do some knitting and crocheting too. I also have a page on Facebook - Wendy's Crafty Crafts where I have a fun challenge most weeks.

Hi Wendy,
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card. I think I would die cut first then use the adhesive, hopefully the bits will stay in the die then I would use more adhesive to grab those but I am sure there is a better way of doing it lol!
Have a great day

Love the image and fab details, just gorgeous.xxx
ReplyDeleteBrilliant card, love the colours and design.
ReplyDeleteI always cut my Die Cut first then stick to the adhesive sheet. Gild or glitter, peel off the back, stick that to my base card.
Have fun

Well even if yo have done it differently it still looks brilliant Great colours
ReplyDeleteHi Wendy
ReplyDeleteYour card looks fab.
I think it depends what effect you're after as to what you do with the sticky sheet. If its just a sticky die cut to glitter up, I would stick the card to the sheet, then die cut.
I think Sue has video links on her blog for different techniques.
Have a great day.

Beautiful card and embellishments Ginny x
ReplyDeleteHi Wendy. Lovely. John has a card using this technique today and Sue has a video of it. I usually stich the sticky paper on and then die cut. but getting the small pieces out are messy and time consuming.
ReplyDeleteSee you later.

Lovely card Wendy, I've done a similar technique using a stencil and glitter. Also well done on completing your crochet blanket. It's beautiful. Janice xxx http://createdbyjan.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteCan't help with your dilemma Wendy, but do love the colours of your card today.

Gorgeous card Wendy, love the die you have used and all the glitter, ..
ReplyDeleteIf I want a glitter die cut, I stick the sheet to card first..then die cut..
I would rather use my Zig chisel tip glue pen and glitter a die cut!!! and use the sticky sheets for backgrounds..
