Good Morning All

Wow, I am back home and full of cold and cough, even worse than off cruise, I feel really YUK.
I think my immune system was low with just getting over the cold from the cruise and then Noah and Megan were full of cold and tonsillitis so I had no resistance
Never mind, it just means John has to do all the cooking !!!!!
He is in the kitchen as I type (scheduled this last night )

It was wonderful to meet up with John Next Door and Ang, Mrs Duck (lovely lady).  Pressies swapped (yummy chocolate with peanuts and crunchie bits - yummy) and more.

Anyway back to my post and more crochet slippers, this time for Hollie. 

They fitted her perfectly and I think she will keep them at her Grannies for her to wear them there.

We went to East Carlton Park to have walk and feed the ducks, it was cold and damp.  Wellies on all round, Lorien lent me a pair.

    Sorry about your cold I think you were definitely run down before you ledt. I came back from UK with a chest infection and also feeling pretty yuk. Don't need it at the moment as mt son is here on holdiay.

    Hi wendy, this might help you, from Marys H blog.

    EDIT: A very savvy blogger left me a comment suggesting I try changing the pop-up comment setting to embedding (she had tried & it fixed the problem at her blog). She also left a 2nd comment, just ignoring the Word Verification, and I got both comments. So I just changed the comment setting from POP-UP to EMBEDDED, saved. I am not seeing the WV just now. Hopefully this will help anyone else who is having this aggravation today. (as one blogger put it "blogger playing Silly Billies". I loved that! I was saying something not quite so kind). Just for info, here's how I changed the settings, if you experience the problem, and don't know where to change it. Go to Design (at the top of the blog where you select New Post), Settings (- on the left side), Posts and Comments. Look for Show Word Verification - make sure it is OFF. For Comment Location (about mid way on the page) - I changed the Popup to Embedded. Be sure to save your changes! Hope this will help anyone else who is having the problem today. Thanks to Berni C (Chasing the Dream) for suggesting I try this!

    Hi Wendy. Sorry that your cold is no better. Keep drinking as much hot tea as you face, this will help a little, along with as much rest as possible. Hollie is so pretty, what a lovely smile : ) Her booties are gorgeous, and perfect colours for Christmas. Look after yourself. Take care.
