Knitting

Good Morning All
I am suffering abit in the heat, getting up to 40 degrees and humid this week, combined with sweats (change of life) too, not a good combination.
***
Glad to hear from Ita too, pleased  you are out of hospital and hope you are feeling better.

Good to see Christina from Flowers Ribbons & Pearls on C&C again yesterday, she is a natural isn't she.
********

I have been knitting for my grand children.
I wasn't sure what size Noah is so I knitted a larger size and I think it will fit him this coming winter.

Believe it or not but this is navy blue, it looks like a sky blue in the picture.  It is a little jerkin for this gorgeous fella.
I have started knitting for the new baby now but it is not good for my joints in my fingers.

Just had his bath and getting ready to go out for tea with Mum and Dad.

And here he is all, all dressed up and ready to go.

And this is a cardigan I have knitted for Hollie.

I will post it over to her when I get their address later.

They have moved into their first house this week end just gone.

  1. Morning Wendy, lovely jumpers that you have knitted. I haven't got grandchildren yet, but my nephew and his wife are expecting their second child in December and have just found out it's going to be a girl. So I've started crocheting a pink blanket in basket stitch. Will post a photo when I've finished on my blog. Well done you for coping in the heat, I'm glad to say the weather is cooler now in Kent as it was too hot (yes I know I shouldn't complain LOL)Have a good day. Janice x

  2. These are gorgeous knits Wendy, I used to love it when my Mom used to knit cardies for my two, still have some in the loft. Don't the two of them look alike? Beautiful pictures.

My I don't think I would cope in the heat you have over there its bad enough here when it reaches 29 lol!

  9. Beautiful Wendy. Don't know how you manage to knit in this weather. I'm having trouble just making cards as i have sweaty finger marks everywhere. Perhaps i should be more ladylike and say "I perspire a lot" instead of saying sweaty.

Anyway both items are really lovely as are the cute photos and not a stick pin anywhere!

  10. Hi Wendy
You have two beautiful grandchildren. Even though they are not brother and sister, they look so alike and so like you too!
Your knitting is amazing. Never got past knit one, pearl one myself so I take my (none knitted) hat off to you!
