Ribbon & Bow

Good Morning All

It is time for the Allsorts Challenge again and the theme this week has been set by Helene and it is Ribbon & Bow so this is a good one for most people I think.

I chose an image form one of the sponsors and coloured with Promarkers.

Then I pondered what to do with it Mmmmmmm.

I decided on something abit different for me and this was after seeing John Next Doors post here on how to make this style of box.  Made from acetate and a couple of pieces of A4 card, EK border punch and a Spellbinders Octagon die.  I found it easier using the red DST instead of a wet glue.

Incase you are wondering, inside is a baby talc and a sponge.

My box is octagonol  instead of hexagonal because I did not have a suitable die.

It took abit of fiddling about but I managed it quite well I think.   I am not too good at measuring and following instructions very closely, I tend to look at something and think, mmm I,ll do it like this........

This is it before putting the image on and putting goods inside.

You could use as a gift box for anyone really and put Body lotion or shower gel inside, or candles or chocolates mmmmmm.

The sponsors this week are ....

Passion for Stamps   will give a winner 4 images of choice.

              And    Ribbon Girl

  1. An absolutely brilliant idea.
If my sister Hazel (Hazel's baskets of Joy) sees this she will have me on a mission to show her how to do. This is right up her street.
Thank goodness she is still on holiday.
    Have a great weekend Wendy
