Flower Power

Good Morning All
This is my second week as DT member for Allsorts Challenge and I,m loving it.  It is Traceys turn to set the theme for this week and it  is 'Flower Power' which is a brill one for me as, if you are a follower of mine, you will know I love, love, love making flowers.
The sponsors this week are Ribbon Girl and My Heart Pieces.
I have never made this design of card before but I saw it on Cardmaking Magic.  You make an aperture in a piece of card then pleat a piece of patterned paper and make into a flower and glue behind the aperture.  The next pic shows a side view.
You can just see inside where the pleats are but I put this pic on to show the card stand I attached to the back of the card, once again, Christina at Cardmaking Magic shows you how to do these.
I blinged this up as much as possible - Spellbinder Bitty Blossoms in different shades of creams and beige and browns, some with pearls in the middle, ribbons, a homemade pin, leaves and swirls.  The base card is covered with 'Hot Off The Press' paper and tag (freebie with a mag last year)
I hope you all join us with this challenge and have fun.
xxxx
