I hope you enjoy your visit to my blog, mainly card making but I now have six Grand children, five girls and a boy. As I love these kids so much I can't help showing an odd picture of them now and again. I really need to get into Scrapbooking too, loads of pics to use. I do some knitting and crocheting too. I also have a page on Facebook - Wendy's Crafty Crafts where I have a fun challenge most weeks.

Acetate Card
I am so annoyed with myself, I went to Aldi this morning to get a couple of bottles of tipple for my Mum for Christmas, then getting them out of the boot I dropped both of them!!! The whiskey smashed but the Baileys didn,t but I still did not want to chance putting it in my suitcase just incase it was fractured in any way, so I had to toddle off and buy another two. So much for buying them here to save money. Mum is 88 and she enjoys a little tipple of an evening.
We had a lovely Christmas lunch yesterday for our Spanish class and tonight we are going out for an Indian with Dave, Marlene and Robert (neighbours). Daves wife, Susie, has gone to UK this morning for cuddles with her Grand daughter so we said we would take Dave out.
Anyway, onto my card for today, I saw this style demonstrated on Create and Craft this week.
I think it shows up abit better against black
It is a twisted easel style and the card is made from acetate. I have used Forever Friends decoupage on the easel and FF paper on the base. Very simple and no embellishments. I think it looks like the decoupage is floating.xxxxx
