Recycled Bits

Good Morning All
I was up ever  so  eary this morning as I could not sleep, so I made a couple of cards at about 4.30am!!!!  I sat looking at the drawers that I keep all my off cuts of card in, and there were so many small bits, so I thought this was a good way of using them.  I keep my card in colours - blue in one drawer, red in another drawer etc etc and each drawer has a small tray in with all the very small pieces, so I pulled one out and got a 5 x5 card blank and laid some pieces on and came up with these.
This is the first one I made - all shades of yellow, cream, brown, beige, rust and orange.  Then added afew buttons, ribbon, gems and a charm.
The same with this one in blues, I laid down the first layer then afew pieces matted on top with foam tape to give abit of depth.
I,m quite pleased with myself and shall be doing some more like this to use all my small bits up.
Please leave a comment and tell me what you think and if any of you use the same idea, hop back here and tell me and I shall hop over to your blog and take a peek.

Going shopping today with my friend Susie.  First I am taking some more cards, Christmas cards, to a charity shop and then we are going to a new Primark that has opened here.  I must admit, I,m not a great fan of Primark in the UK but it wont harm to go and take a browse around.
