Good Evening All
We are back home but I have unpacked and done the washing an some of the ironing and I still cant find my mojo.
Here I am wearing my sunglasses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here is the ship we sailed on, and I think someone stole my mojo whilst on there. I must get it back as I have a DT card to make before Monday.

I hope you enjoy your visit to my blog, mainly card making but I now have six Grand children, five girls and a boy. As I love these kids so much I can't help showing an odd picture of them now and again. I really need to get into Scrapbooking too, loads of pics to use. I do some knitting and crocheting too. I also have a page on Facebook - Wendy's Crafty Crafts where I have a fun challenge most weeks.

Double Bubble
Good Morning All
I will be on the high seas when this is posted I hope.
As it is Monday it is a new challenge at Love to Create. We have two sponsors today ---
Crafty Sentiments , who will give the winner 3 of their digis, and Floppy Latte Designs. Floppy Latte will give the winner $10 worth of their designs.
The theme of the challenge it 'Pumpkins Pumpkins Everywhere' so my first card is made with an image from Crafty Sentimetns called 'Holloween'.
I've tried to make the ghost look like he is floating around holding beaded pins so I attached him to a piece of acetate.
I used an orange 5x5 card blank, matted with black card and I used pumpkin paper printed from a site called 'Squidoo' where you can get lots of free papers.
Joanna Sheen ribbon
Homemade bead pins
Black corner is a Marianne Creatables.
My second card uses a Floppy Latte design called 'Purrcedes'.
I coloured the image with Promarkers
Used some black punched flowers with ornge brads at the centres, and some yellow and orange punched flowers too.
A different shaped bead pin
Used some pumpkins cut out from the paper I used on card above
I found this challenge abit challenging as Halloween was not a big thing in the UK when my boys were young but let me know what you think.

Trick or Treat
Good Morning All
If this goes out on schedule I shall be on the high seas somewhere around Italy.
It,s Monday morning so that is time for Love to Create Challenge and this week the theme is Trick or Treat OR Something Sweet. The sponsors this week are the great Sassy Studio Design, who will give a winner 2 of their digis, AND
Digi Darla Designs.
I chose a Sassy Studio design called Little Honey. I coloured her with Promarkers and Spectrum Noir. The silver card has spiders webs embossed on it and I have used a lovely glass new moon trinket hanging from the gorgeous deep red ribbon bow. Felt flowers made with Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms and some punched flowers. Homemade sentiment and a freebie ticket sentiment too. Black gems and a homemade bead pin completes my design for this weeks DT card, I hope you like it and will join in the challenge and have fun with this theme.

Fall Fun
Good Morning All
The challenge at Love to Create this week is Fall Fun, as this is an American saying 'Fall', we would say Autumn so I always think of harvest so I chose this gorgeous image from our sponsors this week called 'Harvest Basket'. Eureka Stamps are looking after us this week and they sell both rubber and digi stamps, and will give the winner 5 digis of their choice.
This pic is when it is closed and tied with a bow
This is the inside with another bow and sentiment
I made a sort of Trifold card this week and it is held closed with wide organza ribbon (from Aldi)
Paper inside from Create & Craft
Spellbinders scalloped circle die
Yellow card sent to me from a Docrafts buddy
Wooden button from ebay with twine
Gems from Papermania
I hope you all have fun with this challenge and all the DT girls enjoy visiting your blogs.

Something Different
Good Morning All
I saw these on a friends blog and thought they looked so good.
I followed her link to the Youtube tutorial and here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n6XK9vYM6P8 it is. They are abit fiddly but well worth it. I used 3" squares so that makes a 6 to 7" size decoration.
I used double sided 'Me to You' paper so that all sides had print on them, it looks very pale in the pics and for Christmas they would look really good in bold colours. I,m going to hang them on my glass doors at Christmas time.

Recycled Bits
Good Morning All
I was up ever so eary this morning as I could not sleep, so I made a couple of cards at about 4.30am!!!! I sat looking at the drawers that I keep all my off cuts of card in, and there were so many small bits, so I thought this was a good way of using them. I keep my card in colours - blue in one drawer, red in another drawer etc etc and each drawer has a small tray in with all the very small pieces, so I pulled one out and got a 5 x5 card blank and laid some pieces on and came up with these.
This is the first one I made - all shades of yellow, cream, brown, beige, rust and orange. Then added afew buttons, ribbon, gems and a charm.
The same with this one in blues, I laid down the first layer then afew pieces matted on top with foam tape to give abit of depth.
I,m quite pleased with myself and shall be doing some more like this to use all my small bits up.
Please leave a comment and tell me what you think and if any of you use the same idea, hop back here and tell me and I shall hop over to your blog and take a peek.

Birthday Tilda
Good Afternoon All
Well we are back from our weekend away and we didn't get washed away in the rain. We went on a coach trip that should have been a 3 to 4 hour trip and ended up 6 1/2 hours and we had horrible rain all day Saturday but Sunday was glorious again and today we are back to gorgeous Spanish weather again - lovely. I've been up on the roof to empty all my plant pots of water, after the torrential rain on Thursday and Friday.
Anyway, as we go away for our annual holiday in a couple of weeks I will only be entering afew monthly challenges and I made this one yesterday to enter the Crafters Companion challenge for October (I was lucky enought to win the September - Whoopy). They are celebrating their birthday soon so thay want a Birthday card but you have to use an item or items of theirs,

Thinking of You
Good Morning All
Monday is the day for a new challenge at Love to Create. The theme is Thinking of You and we are sponsored by Bugaboo Stampshttp://www.bugaboostamps.com/.
My card is a fairly plain, without much colour, easel.
The image from Bugaboo is called 'Love Conquers All' and I thought it would make a lovely Sympathy Card. I just coloured the butterflies in pale pink and lilac. The round sentiment is a freebie from the lovely Annette at Nettys Cards. I made the quilled flowers and the blue butterflies were given to me by Linda from Animal Aid. The delicate white corners are Memory Box 'Macarena' and the trellis type corners on the bottom are Marianne Creatables LR0200. Have Fun
