 Good Morning

The challenge I set my Craft Group on Friday was

Squares

Again, my card was made using scraps.

Punched squares for the corners and strips of waste for the background and the sentiment topper is from a Tonic sheet.


I nice easy theme I think.

I have shown these cards on Facebook.  I used last years calendar  for these cute doggy images.  Of course, these cards all went in a homemade box for the animal charity to raffle.






Here is a lovely quote I saw on the internet.

And this leads me on to my friend Val, who passed away in December.  She had been ill for quite a while and I still can't believe that she has gone.  She was my best friend over here and we did lots of crafty stuff together, infact, thats how we met, at a Craft Fayre.

Her daughter asked me to help clear her craft stuff and I have sold most of it and raised over  480euro for Animal charities, causes very close to Val's heart.

    I’m so sorry about your friend Val, it can leave such a big hole in our hearts. what an amazing thing you have done to raise all that money for her favourite charities. I also wanted to say what a great way to use your snippets, making squares and strips to create the background of your card xxx
