I hope you enjoy your visit to my blog, mainly card making but I now have six Grand children, five girls and a boy. As I love these kids so much I can't help showing an odd picture of them now and again. I really need to get into Scrapbooking too, loads of pics to use. I do some knitting and crocheting too. I also have a page on Facebook - Wendy's Crafty Crafts where I have a fun challenge most weeks.

Shabby Pink
Todays card is out of my comfort zone. I dont really do distressed and shabby but John Next Door does some beautiful creations using his distress inks and sandpaper etc. He gave me a card blank on Sunday and said 'see what you come up with using this' so here it is. He had done the stitching round the edges and roughed the edges up.
It is not too shabby but I cant help but want everything symetrical. I even diecut the flowers and scrunched them up then inked them over, totally alien for me but I may get used to it!!!! You cant see it too well on the pic but the trellis diecut has been cut from Core-dinations card and distressed too.

Stunning work Wendy and what a coincidence I've also blogged a pink card today using the same die.
