Feminine for Allsorts

 Good Morning All

The theme for Allsorts Challenge this week is

Feminine

chosen by Ellie.

I made this card for Mum on Mothers day.

It came about because when I am cutting parchment pieces with the Picot dies from Clarity, I have squares of parchment left over, as I always place the die in the middle of the parchment or paper so that it could be used as a mat or border.

So I used the Charles border grid plate and matted onto a piece of Designer paper from Clarity too.

I used one of my favourite plates for the circle centre on pale green parchment.

Added some punched parchment flowers in the corners.

I will add a tag for Mothers Day.

More clearing out

 Good Morning All

Another card today made from clearing out some of my digi stamped images.

This image is from Ruth at Passion for Stamps, not sure if she is still in business.

The emboss folder is Mosaic leaves from Creative Expression.

I think the digi would have been coloured with Promarkers, it has been in my topper box for a good while waiting to be used.

I added a metal filigree corner and ribbon for the sentiment tag.

Here is a card I made using one of the parchment sentiments backed onto card coloured with alcohol inks that I showed on Tuesday,

My latest video on You tube is for a DT  post for Minxy Studios UK.

This one is using her Tag bases, great to decorate or collage and can be used for cards too.

Paints and Oxides for backgrounds

 Good Morning All

I have been sorting my photo file out and this is an oldie that I dont think I have posted.

Playing around with  paints to make backgrounds.

Stamped with Archival ink, a Penny Black stamp.

I used some of them for  backing parchment sentiments.

Alot cheaper than buying designer papers!!

Liz from my local Craft shop gave me a large Hearts Groovi plate for Christmas and here is a card I made for some lovely friends that recently got married.  

I should have added the names down the side but once started, I had to finish.

Happy Sunday Challenge

AG for Allsorts

 Good Morning All

Allsorts Challenge time again and the theme is 

Anything Goes with Number as an option

So I made this card for  my Grandaughter Ariana,  who will be 4 this year so I took the number option too.

I found this digi I had already coloured in my topper box and I used offcuts of a sheet of card.

The spotty ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons (link in sidebar)

And I used up some of my Peeloffs of which there are many!!!

Showcase 2 colours for Crafty Ribbons

 Good Morning All

Crafty Ribbons time for me again and we are having a showcase of using 2 colours.

I went with pink and blue as I wanted to show this beautiful ribbon available in store HERE

There are some lovely colours  and it has a lovely picot edge, not too thick, so ties into a lovely bow.

I made a frame with mine and found some parchment flowers to match the colours perfectly.

I love it and will deffo be buying some more.

A Mix

 Good Morning All

A mixture to show you today.

On the weekends we very often get given freebies on Facebook within the groups we are in.  The first is from JaneyB Journals and Jane gave a couple of sheets of images and sets the challenge to show what we can make with them.

Here are the two sheets she gave out on Saturday, 2 A4 sheets.

And here is what I made.

First a triple flip tag for a Journal

Then  with the pieces left I made two Birthday cards.

Next, Gi Kerr from Happiness in Crafting gives a Friday Freebie every week and this week as her ink had gone in the printer so  the sheet was Black & White but still gorgeous.

I laminated it on one side and made a triple fold notebook folio for the charity box in the shop.

This is the inside showing two side pockets and I made little notebooks to go in those too.

I trimmed with lace and added decorated paperclips.

Then stuck some words on from one of Gi's kits.

I love it, infact I made two.

It is well worth being a member of the groups.
