Tags & More Tags

 Good Morning All

I have been making tags for Journals.

These were a freebie from somewhere and they came with the pocket.

I showed these giant double tags the other day but I needed to make pockets for them.
I came across a You Tube tutorial by Pink Monach Prints and it fitted the bill perfectly.
It has multi pockets so numerous tags and ephemera can be fitted in.

I have made a You Tube video that shows them off better.

Thanks for visiting

Happy Sunday & Challenge

Good Morning All

The challenge for the ladies this week is what I posted on Thursday for Crafty Ribbons DT HERE

Spooky or Orange/Black

To be honest I have not had time to do a sketch as John and I have been backwards and forwards to hospital for various appointments.

I made these,  also for a Paperclip swap on Facebook and the theme was either Halloween or Nature..

I went with Nature as I dont do Halloween.

I used black lace from Crafty Ribbons and the pics are from a flower book.

I attached a dangle charm to the ribbon and lace.

The gifts I gave out this week were Viscount mint biscuits and I put them in these lovely triangle sleeve boxes, added ribbon and a dangle

Halloween or Orange / Black for Crafty Ribbons

 Good Morning All

It is my turn to post for Crafty Ribbons today and the theme this week is

Halloween or Orange / Black

I dont really do Halloween so I went with the colours.

Crafty Ribbons do some gorgeous laces so I pulled some black and made these lovely paperclips which I will use in a Junk Journal or a swap.I also used some of the lace, together with a dangle charm, on the end of the clip to hang out at the side of the page.

The image is from a Pressed Flower book I have been cutting up for my Junk Journals

We have a great prize on offer, just leave a comment when you  go to the

Tidy up & Tags

 Good Morning All

If you follow me on Facebook you will know we have been having a move around downstairs.

The 3 seater sofa John used had gone kerput so we  threw it out and he got the 2 seater one the dog used (I know, he is spoiled, the dog not John)

So we moved the smaller one from my craft room so the dog had his own sofa again!!!!

So here he is all settled and comfy.

This is my craft room now, desk moved to where the sofa was.

This is the other end of the room before I had a good sort out.  It is now all tidy, windows cleaned, curtains washed and everything in its own place.
Now I just have to keep it tidy!!!!

Nice an tidy

OK, onto my make for today which are giant tags for a Junk Journal.
I'm not sure if I shall use the 1st one in my current journal as it has a Botanical theme, but the next 2 I definitely  will.

They are double tags and I used a full A4 sheet of card so they are quite large.

I am making all my tags and pockets for  the journal before I actually start sewing it together.
I uploaded a video on Sunday to You tube showing a lovely double pocket.

Birthday or Cupcake for Allsorts

 Good Morning All

Allsorts Challenge this week is hosted by ME and I want to see either

Birthday Cake or Cupcakes.

I found this wonderful ribbon in my stash and I really dont know whose shop it came from.

I just thought it was perfect for what I wanted.

I made a little note book and some paper from Happiness in Crafting and I used the ribbon to hide Gi's name.

Isn't the ribbon wonderful, I have never seen one like it before, it is quite silky.

Inside the front cover I added some chocolate Grosgrain from Crafty ribbons to make a pocket to hold three tags made from leftovers on my desk.

The pages are coffee dyed and notebook papers cut to size which is roughly 6x4 inch.

We have a new sponsor, Pinksy

Maker of digital images and cutting files for card making and craft projects.

I made a card using her cupcake image and the paper is from her too, on special offer.

I used the last piece of the gorgeous ribbon too,
