Notebooks with Gi papers

Good Morning All

Here is yet another notebook using the gorgeous Digi papers from Gi Kerr who has a group called Happiness in Crafting on Facebook 

I bought this lovely set of papers from her Etsy shop.

This one is another quad fold notebook with two lots of paper to write.

And this one has papers in the other fold

As you can tell, I am still enjoying making them, different styles and a way of giving embellishments tucked away in the pockets.

Watercolour card and Happy Birthdays

Good Morning All

Hope you all had a good weekend.

Nothing new here really but I believe you in the UK are all hearing horror stories about us in Spain with the virus.

I,m not one to spout off about politics but this really annoys me, Boris enforcing 14 day quarantine for people travelling back from Spain.

We have our face mask wearing enforced, unlike UK.

We have nowhere near as many cases as UK.

I could go on for ages but I wont.

Firstly let me wish my younger son a Big Happy Birthday.

And it is Hollies on Friday.

Missing these guys so much and goodness knows when I will see them again

Back to crafting 

Another water colour card today.

Very quick and easy and fairly CAS

Very hot here so taking alot of my crafting into the living room where it is cooler as we have a ceiling fan in there and when the wind drops, we put the AC on, sod the leccy bill, better to be comfortable!!!

Making lots of embellishments which will be shown at a later date.

The challenge I set my Craft Club ladies on Friday - A sketch and one we have had before but very useful to make more Man cards.

Allsorts Reminder

Good Morning All

Just a reminder that Allsorts challenges are running for 2 weeks over the Summer.

The theme is Flowers all Over and there is a fab stamp from Chocolate Baroque on offer.

Here is another Notebook I have made for my gift drawer.

I used an A4 piece of card and folded in four and covered in a lovely sort of damask paper..

The back

Inside with tags and tuck pockets and notepaper sewn in.

Decorated with some butterflies and bead dangles.

Christmas week for Crafty Ribbons

Good Morning All

Crafty Ribbons are having a showcase week for Christmas Ribbon.

I have been making some gifts for my Craft Club ladies and this is one.

It is a little flip book.

As you can see the ends are open to hold items.

I added some sheets of gems and I am also going to add some sentiment tags.

Both items we all use on our cards.

The ribbon is Grosgrain and available  HERE   along with loads of others.

The pink bow is also made with ribbon instore too.

This was fun to make and a useful gift too.

Blue Quad fold Notebook & Paperclips

Good Morning All

Another Notebook to show today using papers from Happiness in Crafting - Gi Kerr.

Firstly, these are paperclips I have made using some hearts from a freebie from Gi, she usually includes some on the freebies.

I attached a little dangle charm.

I will use ones like this to adorn the notebooks.

This is the front cover of the notebook.

It is made from an A4 sheet and closes using Seam binding from Crafty Ribbons

(dont forget they have a sale on at present with some real bargains)

Folded into 4 equal parts and stitched note pages into two of the folds.

This is the other side of the  sheet with tuck spots and journaling cards

Boxed card and pram blanket

Good Morning All

An acquaintance asked me to make a card for her friend and wanted a box for it too.

This is the card I came up with.

Tatt Lace pierced dot butterflies on CE Embossed butterfly folder.

I made the box using my Crafters Companion Score board.

The ribbon across the box is from Crafty Ribbons

She was very pleased with it too and her friend loved it.

Here is another pram blanket I have crocheted.

I have quite a stash of them now so if anyone wants one I will only charge 10 gbp

Happy Sunday and Challenge

Good Morning All

Happy Sunday to you all.

Masks are now mandatory in our region from yesterday, meaning they must be worn at all times outside the house or bar/restaurant.

My challenge for the Craft Club this week was Tic Tac To.

I used Square White and Lace from the chart below.

I think the digi is from Right Said Fred (I dont think they are still in business producing digis though)

The paper is Country Meadow from LOTV

The blue ribbon is from this stack that a lady left at the craft shop for us all to use.

All the ladies took what  they wanted and I brought the rest home and hung on  piece of card which I punched holes in to thread the ribbon through.  On hand all the time now.

The gifts I gave out were Murray Mints  in boxes I made and tied with ribbon and a charm.
