Afew Groovi

Good Morning All

How are you coping with social distancing?

I have just been to the shop and I wasn't sure if I would be able to post a parcel but I was.

I am sending a Groovi Starter kit to Hollie, I was saving it for her birthday in July but thought I would send it now to help keep her and Tess occupied while there is no school.

Lorien is doing work with them both for afew hours each morning.

Here is afew Groovi cards I had in my picture files and I am showing one I sent to my mum for Mothers day, not sure if I have shown it before, sorry if I have.

You dont have to do alot of work with Groovi to make a beautiful card like this one.

Also the great thing with Groovi is being able to personalise your card.

 This one, obviously , is more complicated with all the snipping.

Happy Sunday

Good Morning All

I hope you are all coping well with your lockdowns,

We are approaching our 3rd week now and it still feels very strange.

But it does make me feel very anxious when I go out, either with the dog or shopping.

The Policia Locale keep driving around and I worry that they will stop me while walking the dog, I dont know why as we are allowed to walk him.

Well, onto to this weeks challenge for my Craft club ladies and anyone else that would like to join in.

You are all welcome to play as I know afew of you will be crafting alot more while you cannot go out as much.

Now this is quite a difficult one I think.

Men or Boy for Allsorts & Yummy for Crafty Ribbons

Good Morning All

I have two DT posts on here as both coincided so -
It is my turn to choose the them for Allsorts Challenge this week.

Men or Boys Card

I pulled out an LOTV Topper as I often do for these cards.

I found this piece of card in my box that had the circle already cut out so I used it as the aperture to show the image.

I added Candi dots in the corners and around the aperture.

I added two charms to the sentiment - A heart and a fish tied with string.

Rare Earth A4 stamp set for the prize this time.

For my card I used some yummy chocolate ribbon and cake ribbon.
The cake ribbon is quite wide and has different cake on.
I just cut a piece and stuck on with red tape then stuck heart gems on to cover the edges.

Groovi Heart

Good Morning All

Here is a card I made for St Valentines day.

I bought the plate from  my local craft shop and glittered the front.

I put afew cards in the craft shop to show the Groovi work and tempt people to join in the classes

Missing my Craft Club today, goodness knows when I will see all the ladies again, a good few months yet I think.

Die Challenge Day 62 - The End

Good Morning All

Well I never thought I would get here, the last day of my Dies Challenge.

It was meant to be Monday but I had bought two more of Johns dies when he showcased them on Hochanda.

I love any kind of Trellis and I adore Pansies so it was a no brainer for me.

I coloured the pansies with Mica Magics

Dies Challenge Day 61 & Altered Paperclips & Journal page 18

Good Morning All

I joined in a swap on a Facebook group which was to decorate paperclips in a shabby chic way.

Here are the first two.

I used a Spellbinders Frame die for this side.

Then for the reverse I used a Memory Box- I was going to get rid of these dies they they worked out well for doing these paperclips.

I used the Spellbinders Ribbon  Tag die for these which I have used before.

I decorated with ribbon flowers and bows that I have made and bits of seam binding and lace.

I must admit I forgot this, which is very unlike me, but I will blame the Corona Virus!!!!

Dies Challenge Day 60 & Happy Sunday

Good Morning All

This is my card for the Sketch Challenge.
My craft club ladies wanted to carry on doing the challenge even though we are not meeting due to our lockdown here in Spain.
It also shows my FINAL Emboss Folder too,

An LOTV Topper cut with Pierced Oval die.

I embossed Silver Mirri card with the Tools folder, added abit of hessian.
