Allsorts Challenge this week is hosted by  Helene and the theme is Baby Animals.

I used this cute topper from Crafters Companion  from a Humphrey set.

I dont know why I like gingham paper for Baby cards.

Added a lovely ribbon with a heart buckle.

Homemade sentiment.

There was a tag with the set so used that too.

Added the last piece of paper onto the inside.

Pretty Butterflies for Crafty Ribbons

I love this butterfly ribbon, so all I had to do was add lots of butterflies!!!!

Pixie Parchment

Good Morning All

Well it is getting very hot here in Spain, I know the Uk is having a heat wave a present too.
I am getting up earlier to take Rico out for a walk.
This morning we were going out of the door at 7.19 then I was getting in the pool at 8.20, so he had a good 8 mins walk.
I take him out at 4pm just for a pee walk in the shade then a longer walk at night as the sun goes down.
When I craft, which I am doing quite alot of while footy is on, he sits under my desk watching the world go by from the window.

Here is the card I made using the Pixie Powder background I talked about on Tuesday.

Since starting Groovi it has awakened my Parchment itch.

I have done this design afew times over the years but I enjoy it as it involves alot of pricking and snipping.

This is how it starts, followed a pattern and embossed with a fine tool.

Coloured the flowers with felt tips on the reverse.

I had a parchment butterfly so decided to add that after I took the first photo.

I bought a Groovi plate with different butterflies and use any odd pieces of parchment to make butterflies now.

Happy Birthday Brenda

Good Morning All

It is Brenda's Birthday today, she is my team leader on Allsorts challenge blog.

This is the card I sent to her, she loves Poppies and whenever I see a card  with them on, I always think of Brenda.
The papers are from Making Cards Magazine, ages ago, my Sis gave me loads.

I used one of my pretty bows.

I used the leftover piece of pretty paper for the inside.

Pixie Scraps

• Good Morning All

I Hate when I cut into  sheet of card and there is not enough left for a mat on another card, only smaller pieces.

Well I made this pixie powders card  last week and used a large piece under some parchment work, i will show later in the week.  Anyway, I couldn't  throw out what was left so I cut into smaller pieces and matted them onto card and there was also a piece of floral paper left over, so did the same with that.
Looks OK I think and another one to go in the charity box.
The ones I gave the rescue centre are selling well.

If I have two pieces of card or paper, I stick onto a mat then add ribbon to hide the join.

Happy Sunday

Good Morning All
These are what I gave my  Craft Club ladies on Friday.
)The boxes are made following a You Tube vid by Mixed Up Crafts HERE
The took me a while to do.

Abit awkward   getting the ribbon round.

I always tie with a good length of ribbon so they can use on other projects.

I added a dangle charm to each one aswell for them to use.

I made another tiny box to go inside.









Each containing a 'Fun'  treat of chocolate.

It is from a Peter Rabbit decoupage sheet.

The sentiment is from one of JND sets.

The surround for the sentiment and the frog is mounted on a die cut from Sue Wilson Swiss collection - Zurich.

This is the inside .
I fussy cut around two of the images from the title on the sheet.

And another one I cut for the envelope.

Sweet Treats for Allsorts

Good Morning All

Allsorts Challenge this week is hosted by  Susan and the theme is Sweet Treats.

Some of you may know that I run a Craft Club here in Spain, and I give my ladies a little gift within a homemade box every week.

I made these boxes using my Envelope Punch Board.

Followed a Pootles   tutorial on You Tube.

I added a homemade gem for the closure.

I tied some gold ribbon around.

I make the bows big so that the ladies can use the ribbon on their own creations

Good Morning All

I have been making afew of these dangle embellishments to add to cards and also, to give away.

I can make loads of these while watching TV at night.

These look great added to them with a length of chain.

Tranquil

Good Morning All

We had a lovely weekend in Jalon, infact it was Benissa.

So quiet and tranquil, no traffic sound, just the birds, a donkey heehawing and the bees buzzing.

Fun in the pool Saturday afternoon.

 Breakfast Sunday morning.

The hosts cook for us if we want them to, which we did on Sunday morning.

Lunch on Sunday with some new friends. 

We tried Cocas, similar to a pizza.

The others stayed here.

John and I stayed here 

And this is the owners place.

I can well recommend this place if anyone wants to stay in a nice, quiet, peaceful pace in the Spanish countryside not far from Benidorm.
