I used another topper from the same sheet on the inside with an off cut from the embossed card.

Good Morning All

Sue B is hosting MAWTT challenge this time and her thoughts are Food & Drink

I decided to make an Easter card to send to one of the Grand Children and went with theis sweet

House Mouse decoupage.

So cute snuggled in a basket munching on Easter eggs.

Yes the image is stuck on wonky as I stuck the mat on wonky by mistake!!

So I went for a contemporary look!!!!!

Gerberas

Good Morning All

I found some old die cuts in a box that I  had cut using some of Johns dies before he moved back to UK, however many years ago that was!!!!

I added some Gerberas from his new die set that I had heat embossed with white and black.

The brown corner die is, I think a Spellbinder one which John used here and was the inspiration for him designing the Sandwich box die.

We went over to Guadamar  harbour yesterday in the car and took Rico with us.

He tends to get car sick, so John keeps him in the footwell by his feet, he was OK but goes very quiet.

Here are afew pics.

We dont know if he has ever been near the sea, but he sniffs like crazy wherever he goes.

You can see on  this pic how long his fur is, although he is molting, we are going to ask the vet this morning if he can be trimmed.

There were quite afew wind/kite surfers on the next beach too.

It was very windy.

Good Morning All

I just wanted to show you this card that one of my Craft Club ladies gave to me on Friday.

She is a great dog lover and has 3 of her own, (I think it's 3)

This is what she wrote inside,

as though from Rico.

And this is the other side.
An ode from Pam Ayres.

We signed the official adoption paper on Saturday, so now we are going  to the  vet tomorrow  to get the Chip details changed.

A sunset the other night when I was taking Rico for a walk.

They are doing an awful lot of building at the back of our apartment block.   Lots of detached villas, but John and I call them white boxes as we feel they have no character.

1st Crafty Ribbons DT

Good Morning All

My first post for Crafty Ribbons DT and so excited!!!!
They run a challenge on Facebook, I have won  afew times in the past and was able to get hold of some of their gorgeous ribbons.
See my post HERE to see how I used some of them.

As soon as I got hold of Johns Ribbon Threader die I knew I wanted to use it for this project.

But I wanted to add an extra something!!!

I bought these pearls a while ago and the hole in them is very large, too big for Stick pins, but perfect for ribbon.

They make it look like little bows all the way round.

This card is larger, 7x7.

I offset the mats to make it abit different 

This beautiful Satin ribbon is available HERE and it is only 3 quid for 20 mtr.

The sentiment is from Johns Stamp set - 

This is another card I made using the same technique but with some gorgeous buttons from Crafty Ribbons too.

The Pink Heart buttons and pastel round ones are all available from Crafty Ribbons,
as is the gorgeous Heart Grosgrain ribbon.

Good Morning All

This should have posted last week but due  to the death  of the owner of the bar we craft at, I extended last times sketch for another week.

These are the gifts that I gave out at Craft Club on Friday.

They are very slim, tall boxes and hold 4 Maltesers!!!

We had to move to a new venue for our Craft Club as the bar is still not open and we now know that Paul is not opening the bar again so we shall have to find another venue.

A big Happy Birthday to Tess today.

Good Morning All

When I was making my Rosette and a card to go with it, shown yesterday, I had some bits of paper and card  left over so I made these two cards.

The edges are what is left when you cut the rosette out.

The sentiments on all these are from various sets of Johns.

We are at a new venue for my Craft Club today as Paul still has not opened the bar after Martyns death, not sure if he ever will.

But I do have alot of stuff in ther, both for the craft club and for sale, so I need to get it all out.

Rosette Swap

Good Morning All

Another swap I posted to UK last week was a Shabby Chic, layered Rosette.

I used lots on this -

This is the card I made to go in my parcel.

I used a Rosette maker die and one of my pearl gems for the centre-
and, of course, some tiny butterflies that I make.

ATC's

Good Morning All

As you know, I am in a swap group on Facebook.

On my post HERE I showed you the ATC's I made for my swap partner, the theme was Valentines.

Well these are the ones I received from my partner.

They are so pretty and I shall put them to good use on my cards.

My next swap is ATC's again and the theme is Springtime.

I made these first using some prints for Junk Journals, but then thought the bunnies and Tulips was more Spring like.

I used some free papers from Making Cards Magazine years old.

I put them in individual bags and decorated up abit.

Hope my swap partner likes them.

My next swap posted last week is a layered Rosette!!

So watch this space.
