I hope you enjoy your visit to my blog, mainly card making but I now have four Grand children, three girls and a boy. As I love these kids so much I can't help showing an odd picture of them now and again. I really need to get into Scrapbooking too, loads of pics to use. I do some knitting and crocheting too.
with my partner. I am retired and LOVE it. I love life here but I do miss my family back in the UK, two sons and three sisters and my Mum.
Crafting is my life, I do something every single day. In the past it has helped me get through some bad times in my life. One such bad time was when my first grandson died aged just 14 months. He had been born 8 weeks prem but was very healthy and was growing into a beautiful, bonny boy. It was such a shock when the call came. A day never passes when I dont think of him.
I am now Nanna again to grand daughter, Hollie, born July 2012, and Tess born March 2016. This is my younger son and his partner. I now have another Grandson, Noah, born Nov 2013 to my elder Son and they have a daughter, Aurora, born March 2015.
Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy my makes. Please leave a comment so that I know you have visited me. xxxx
Moving Along With The Times is hosted by Carole and she has given us a sketch to work from.
This is my take on it.

All bits in my stash - homemade stickpin, ribbon, button, butterflies.

Welcome to Pauline, I hope you enjoy your visits.
Time for Craft Rocket Challenge and the theme this time is Ribbon and / or Lace.
This is actually a banner I made here but you cant really see much of behind all the lace ribbon trim.
The trim is some I bought in USA about 8 years ago!!!!!
Matted onto embossed card and used Gilding Wax on the edges.
The centre is a Tag die from Sue Wilson with a sticky topper, years old from Create and Craft.
I thought this would be suitable for either Wedding or Baby or Anniversary.
I,m home and full of cold AGAIN.
What is it with aeroplanes????
I have been taking my vitamin C while I was away too.
Boohoo I feel yuk.
Love this way of using a wide ribbon, threading through a pearl buckle.
Backing paper is from a Docrafts pad
Tis the Season is a Tonic die
Creative Expressions Poinsettia coloured with Mica paints
Will be on my way tonight after a wonderful 10 days. Visiting with John, Ally Pally then lots of wonderful cuddles with Hollie and Tess. Pics to follow when I download camera when I get home
I saw this idea of making a Christmas tree from twigs and covered in white glitter to represent snow.
And these below are recycled Christmas cards.
Quilled flowers I have made.
A lady gave me a bag full of ribbon at my slimming club - Pieces from the shoulders of sweaters etc. So I used alot of these bits.
Two more days then I shall be on my way home.
I have had lots of cuddles and fun times with Hollie and Tess.
I brought a pack of my homemade pins (18) with me to uk to give to a lady at ally pally but she was not able to make it.
I dont want to take them home so first one to txt me their postal address to me on

My case is packed and weighed, ready for Wednesdays flight.
Cant wait to see Johns New craft cave and no doubt he will be working with some of Sue Wilsons new Indian Ocean dies too, they are so gorgeous and are on my shopping list for Ally Pally.
I made this bag following a tutorial from John on You Tube HERE.
This is before he joined Creative Expressions, I think.
A little bit fiddly to do but quite pleased with how it turned out, xxx
Finally, I have added back all the pics on older posts that disappeared and getting to grips with Google photos.
Well , I have finally found out what is wrong with Picassa with the help of my John.
Google, in it's infinite wisdom, have decided that they no longer want Picassa so we all have to use Google Photos.
I cannot edit, sort into folders or anything, I hate it.
So forgive my pics at present until I have learnt how to use it properly.
I had to start using Picassa afew years ago, because, once again, Google changed things.
I wish they would leave well alone.
Moan over, sorry.
Update - I spent alot of last night sorting out and renaming alot of albums in Google Photos.
I,m getting there I think. Please tell me which photo storage you all use, thanks.
This one is either for Lee or Ricky, obviously.
John Lockwood '12 Days of Christmas ' paper pad from last year.
I think the bauble die was borrowed from John afew years ago too.
I coloured them with Gilding Polish.
Wow is it hot here, getting upto 40 degrees Sunday and yesterday, we had to have aircon on all day yesterday.
Hopefully, it will cool abit next week as Johns Mum arrives next Monday to keep him company while I am in UK visiting John Next Door, Ally Pally and then Rick and Lorien, and, of course, Hollie and Tess.
Message for Little lamb - Are you deffo going to Ally Pally, if you are I have a small gift for you.
I decided to use this cute picture of a new puppy, as so many of my cards go to Animal Aid.
I used a sheet of John Lockwoods paper pad, matted onto scraps of card, it is two sided so the pale blue is the other side to the flowers.
This is the inside of the card using the last bit of paper from the sheet.
We are looking after my friends dog this weekend, due to a family funeral they had to fly to UK on Thursday. She is a black Labrador and so well behaved.
This is her in February, just a pup, now fully grown but still gorgeous.
I got woke up with a wet nose pushing into my face yesterday morning, needed a wee!!!!
