Good Sunday Morning All
It was my turn to provide the goodies for the Sunday Mojo. This is what I presented John Next Door with -
I went for quantity as I have this craft fair coming up on the 15th July, I was checking through my boxes of cards upstairs and found that I did not have too many 'Get Well Cards' so I thought this would be a good opportunity to make a load, all ladies though as the goodies were pink. I have had to use peel-offs for the sentiment as I dont have any stamps that are suitable (note to put on shopping list). Be prepared for lots of pics-------------
1. A cross over card. Mostly used Spellbinders Labels 6. I cut quite afew die cuts from the papers and put them on my desk then decided what to do with them.
Bitty Blossom flowers
The paper lace edge I have had in my stash for mmm, probably more than 5 years.
CHALLENGES ----
Dream Valley # 60 - Make your own flowers or embellishments
That craft Place - Flowers
2. A flower made into a butterfly and the negative from the die cuts.
3. Marianne die cut flowers and some bought ones.
4. Another Marianne die cut LS0236
and a Marianne butterfly LR 0158
5. This is a diecut I bought from E***y.
6. This features my new Marianne flower die.
7. I varied between A6, A5, 5" square and 5" x 7" sized cards
8. This was the most unusual textured paper.
9. A picture from a postcard that someone gave me cut with Spellbinders Scalloped circle.
10. Another die cut bought from E***y and one of my new stamps for the verse.
11. More of that lovely textured paper and Marianne flowers with gem centres.
12. More Marianne large flowers.
Have a lovely Sunday and thanks for bearing with me on this extra long post.
********************************
Now I need to make a load of 'man' Get Well cards to go in the box.
I think Ita from Ireland HERE has decided to join us in our Mojo challenge so John will be sending some goodies to her soon.

I hope you enjoy your visit to my blog, mainly card making but I now have six Grand children, five girls and a boy. As I love these kids so much I can't help showing an odd picture of them now and again. I really need to get into Scrapbooking too, loads of pics to use. I do some knitting and crocheting too. I also have a page on Facebook - Wendy's Crafty Crafts where I have a fun challenge most weeks.

Good Morning All
What a lovely theme this week at Allsorts Challenge, Lavender & Lace chosen by our lovely team leader, Brenda.
I chose a lovely digi by Anne Stillwell, this one is precoloured with a lavender coloured evening gown on. I embellished with one of my crochet flowers with twissly bits, a button with a gem attached. I hope you like it.

Butterfly
Good Morning All
A quick post this morning as I,m off to my fat club, but I dont expect to have lost much this week but enjoy going for the chat.
I bought some A4 double sided sticky sheets a while ago and thought this was a good way of using them. I stuck a piece onto a plain white piece of card and put through my Cuttlebug with the Spellbinders butterfly circle, then peeled off to reveal the sticky and covered with micro beads. Cut a large Marianne butterfly CR 1205 from purple card. Added some scrap pieces of paper and card and afew more butterflies.
This one shows the tiny beads.

Good Morning All
The challenge theme this week at Charisma Cardz has been chosen by Jill and is 3 - 2 - 1 that means 3 of something, 2 of something else and 1 of something else, OK?
I used a decoupage image of an old fashioned tractor, 2 different papers ( 1 plain green and 1 patterned ) and 3 buttons from my Mums old button tin. The gorgeous sentiment is a freebie from Netty here.
The sponsor this week is The Digi Stamp Boutique who will give the winner 6 digis of choice.
Have fun.

New Stuff
Good Morning All
John Next Door and I went to our local craft shop last Friday and I have been playing with my new goodies, nothing too exciting but here's a couple.
I bought a set of sentiment stamps ( Hobby Art Clear stamps CS04D - Friends), an ink pad for embossing, a ruler with holes in to do edge piercing and a Cheery Lynn Stacker flower ( SF 2 ) die - the green flower on this one. I love it and will be making loads more me thinks.
You can just about see the pierced holes on the edge of the dark blue card on this one.
I do need to practice my stamping abit more though.
I just thought I would show you the finished frame from yesterday, it is now hanging in my room upstairs.

Sunday Mojo 15
Good Sunday Morning All
Well John Next Door set me a challenge and a half this week.
The picture frame is about 15" X 9".
I really did not know what to do with this other than paint it and then embellish it with flowers etc. Then, on Thursday night /Friday morning when I was lying in bed, unable to sleep, it hit me.
I kept the material I cut from the bottom of curtains when I had to shorten them when we decorated my craft room.
I decided to cut strips of the material (as in the post from yesterday, the Allsorts one) and fray the edges. I stuck them on with silicone glue. Then picked out some crochet flowers from my box and glued those on and voila. I chose purple because this will be going in my reading room upstairs with a photo of Hollie and her Dad, I know just the one I want to use. ------
This background makes it stand out abit more. And this is before I put the glass back in.
This is against a white background , shows the purple up more.
This is with the glass back in and now I will have to print the photos. I have had my new printer for afew months now and still need to suss out how to print a 4 x 6 picture.!!!!!
CHALLENGES -----
The Hobby House - Anything Goes
Here are the two pics I would like to put in the frame.
I love this pic, it just screams at me 'Daddys Little Girl'.
In fact I may put two pics in the frame because it is quite oblong in shape.
I love the expression on her gorgeous little face in this one.
These were taken afew weeks ago when the weather was good in the UK and Mum and Dad put a blanket out on the back lawn.
Now for the bit of news I was telling you about -
John has been emailed about our Mojos on Sundays and we talked about it and he asked me how I felt about sending the goodies we used to anyone that may want to join in with us, of course, I agreed. We will have to pull the goods together afew weeks in advance to give us time for posting and we will sink the cost of this between us, but we think it would be fun. I did this on my Allsorts challenge afew months ago, Brenda sent us all the same goods and it was really interesting to see what we all came up with. If you would like to join us, either email or comment on here or on Johns blog.
Hope you are all having a great weekend. and look forward to hearing from you.

Use A Charm
Good Morning All
Crafty Friends Challenge was launched on 1st June, this is replacing Forever Friends, after Diane and Tanya, with our help, decided to put the gorgeous cutie bear to bed (but I,m sure you will see him quite often). Anyway, the DT's were split into 4 teams and I am on team 4 and this is my first creation on this team.
The theme is 'Use A Charm'. I coloured one of the sponsors digis with Promarkers to make this sweet 'Baby' card. I tied a cute 'teddy bear' charm with twine, added pearl hearts and crochet butterfly and flower.
Delicious Doodles are the sponsors for this challenge.

Outside The Box
Good Morning All
Allsorts Challenge time again and the theme has been set by Helene, Outside The Box means use an item that was not intended for crafting.
I decided to use this little cutie from Digi Darla who will give the winner 5 digis of their choice.
I coloured him with Promarkers, mounted on Coredinations card, embossed and sanded, then different shades of blue card. The 'Just for You' sentiment tag is a very old item in my craft stash and it is stuck to a piece of material that I cut off the bottom of some curtains I was shortening for my craft room. And the bow is made from the same material, so that is my item that I,m using that was not intended for crafting. Come back tomorrow to see more of this material on our Sunday Mojo . xxxx
Have fun with this challenge and I am looking forward to seeing your entries to see what items you use.

Another Gruffies
Good Morning All
I have another Gruffies here for you to look at. When I am cutting out, because I dont want to build the decoupage too high (because of postage costs) I make two images from the one set, if you know what I mean.
Sorry for all the shadow on the picture but it has been very sunny here and I cant close it out!!! (I,m going to have to have lessons from John Next Door).
I have put an acetate front on this, so basically it is an easel card but with an acetate wrap around. This was made for a friend of a friend who asked me to make it for her sister. Here is the other half of the Gruffies image I made the other day.
Have a lovely weekend all and join me and John on Sunday for our Sunday Mojo for abit of news we will share with you.

3 Guitars
Good Afternoon All
These two pics show the embossing on the guitars.
I did not want to buy dies for things like this so I thought buying them already cut was a good idea.
I,m busy making cards for the stall for the Fiesta Festivities in July. I make so many 'pretty' 'girly' cards, now I need to make more 'man' cards so here are three I made this morning. I bought some die cuts on E***y of guitars and boats and here are 3 cards all similar but different!!!!

Gruffies
Good Morning All
I have been cutting out again, Gruffies is the object of my affection this time. I think this decoupage image is so cute.
This would have been a good card to send to my eldest Son whose birthday it is today, he does love his bed!!!! Mums button tin has been raided again and more of my flowers crocheted with twine and a butterfly. I used the negative from a border die cut along the bottom and embossed dark green card to mount it all on.
I wish Lee a happy birthday today and hope he raised lots of money at the weekend for Alder Hey Hospital. He took some of my cards to sell to help raise funds at a dinner on Saturday night. The staff at this hospital were exceptional when Lucas died and Lee is doing a sponsored skyjump in August to raise more money for them.

Sunday Mojo 14
Good Morning All
It was my turn to resent John (this should read present but John thought it was quite funny, people left me comments and I did not know what they meant until I asked John, stupid me) with the goods this week and I gave him some patterned blue card and some bits that were given to my by Linda (Animal Aid Charity) and I did not know what they were for. In the picture it is the cream shaped card that I have folded along the score lines and the piece with slots. I thought John may know what to do with it but he was a loss too so it will be interesting to see what he comes up with, so pop over here and have a peep when you have looked at my creations of course!!!!!
I pulled out some little die cuts too and some pre-cut book marks (I think).
Here's what I came up with. By the way, I have another craft fair coming up on 15th July at the local English bar, it is all part of the village fiesta fortnight, so I am trying to get my stock up to fill my table.
I made 3 bookmarks and 3 cards -----
This is part of the cream card that I did not know what it was for. It was already pre-scored on these lines. Added the metal flowers, a couple of gems and a couple of feathers.
CHALLENGES ----
Totally Papercrafts # 171 - Feeling Blue
Quirky Crafts # 12 - Fold It
Squirrel & Fox # 46 - Use metal
This is for John, LOL he HATES peel-offs, a standing joke between us, but I have loads and still keep using them occasionally, but I don't buy any now and haven,t for a long time.
These are my 3 book marks, I put beads on one, a charm on another and a tassle on the last one. I put acetate in the middle before I glued together, again with some peel-offs.
2nd card, again pre-scored cream card and hung the sentiment in the middle.
CHALLENGES -------
Amusing Challenge - Use twine or ribbon
Glitter & Sparkle # 37 - Use 3 of something
I only used the green card for this one. I bought these die cuts on E****, so stuck one over the green card and mounted on darker green card.
Added a home made bead thingy!!! and a crochet flower and a freebie sentiment.
I hope you like them and I cant wait to see what John has come up with.
Hope you are all having a lovely weekend.

I added a crochet butterfly, some blue pearls and some stringy wool for the bow with a blue pearl bow stuck on it.
My Heart Pieces are the sponsors for this challenge and they will give the winner 4 digis of their choice.

Paintbox Poppet Cycling
Good Morning All
Here is another of my Paintbox Poppets decoupage which I love, I do still love cutting out decoupage although these are die-cut ones, which is easier for me as my hands do ache abit now and again. This image reminds me of when I was young, off school on the long summer holidays and Mum would pack a picnic for me and my friends and we would go off for the day on our bike. We would be out all day, in the woods or at the local laying fields, never any worries like today, about being safe etc. We just had fun, fun, fun.
Used some homemade punched flowers inked on petals and mounted the whole lot on a piece of frayed material.

There were two outdoor pools and I think, an indoor one too.
