Hi all
Christmas eve and the sun is shining here in Spain. Looking forward to our walk on the beach tomorrow with our neighbours and their three little doggies. Then we are going to find somewhere for a `menu del dia` = menu of the day. It has been great not to think about food - turkey or sprouts or carrots etc. So relaxing.
I have wrapped all Johns pressies and cant wait to give them to him tomorrow morning.
The cava is chilling in the fridge for our Bucks Fizz.
I miss my two sons so much but even if I was there, they would be doing their own thing anyway. In the past I have spent so many Christmas` alone. I think deeply about my grandson Lucas at this time of year and wish things were different. But he is at peace now and I am sure he is happy with all the other little kiddies.
Well on to happier things - I wish you all a very happy time and a good new year.
Thanks for looking in today when you are all so busy.
Best Wishes
xx

I hope you enjoy your visit to my blog, mainly card making but I now have six Grand children, five girls and a boy. As I love these kids so much I can't help showing an odd picture of them now and again. I really need to get into Scrapbooking too, loads of pics to use. I do some knitting and crocheting too. I also have a page on Facebook - Wendy's Crafty Crafts where I have a fun challenge most weeks.

Challenge winner
Hi all
Just a quick post to let you know I won the challenge on Docrafts for `Not a Christmas Card`. The picture isw below of the pink/white butterfly card.
Also, very dissappointed with the craft fayres - today only sold 1 card and 1 bracelet. Thursdays was abit better but now got loads of stuff left and will have to dispose of. So female relatives will be getting extra bits in the post after Christmas and the charities will benefit a great deal, which they would in the long run anyway but it would have been nice to sell loads then I could buy more stuff to make more cards to give to them anyway (thats a roundabout way of doing it but I get the enjoyment of making ) if you know what I mean.
Going now to join in the weekend Blog Hop.

Good News
Hi all
I just thought I would share some good news with you all. A lady I met last week at a Christmas lunch, owns a cafe here, and she has asked if she can display some of my jewellery and try to sell some for me. I shall take some down to her this week just in time for a cheapy Christmas pressy for someone.

Wine glass charms
Good morning all.
I am still making bits to sell on the Christmas stall in 1 weeks time in the village where we live. I thought I would show you these Wine glass charms. They just hook round the glass stem and then (usually) there is a different coloured bead on each one so that each person knows which glass is theirs, but some people do like them all the same colour. These have got an unusual shaped black stone on. I do them in all sorts of coloured stones and beads. I saw some at the ladies night I went to last Friday with my neighbour amd they were selling for 12 euros, 4 times the amount I charge. I,m not bothered about making great profits, I just enjoy making them. All money goes back into buying more stash and then the cards get donated to the charities I support here. In the Uk I always supported a cancer charity, but here in Spain I donate to Animal Aid (there are so many abandoned animals here) and the other one is a Stoma support charity, so both good causes.
Please leave a comment telling me what you think.
Thanks

Commision cards
Hi all
I was approached today by a lady I know asking me to do two cards for her - one for her Grand-daughters 1st B,day just before Christmas, and another for her daughter, son-in-law and said grand daughter for Christmas. I hope she likes them, I think they look lovely. I didn,t think I would do them today but once I got started I had to finish, even though we have our neighbours coming round for dinner!! LOL. One is a nice pink box card with a lovely picture of a teddy holding a balloon behind the glass and the Christmas card is a double easel with a cutie snowman and teddy on each side.
I have been blog hopping today aswell, naughty but nice!!!!
Thanks for looking

Challenge Entry on Docrafts
Hi all
I thought I would show you this card that I have entered into a challenge over at Docrafts.
I love Butterflies and I must admit I do use them alot, and if I have made a small mistake they are great for covering it up.
We had a lovely lunch out yesterday with our neighbours - 3 courses and a salad and a drink for 6.50 euros. Very hard to beat that. I am going to a ladies evening tonight aswell. Busy time leading upto Christmas - our first Christmas lunch on Sunday with all the people from one of the charities I give my cards to.
Have a good day
